This is such an incredibly powerful book. This book recounts the experiences of John Perkins (civil rights activist) while he was in Mississippi and Tom Tarrants III (ex-KKK member) in Alabama. The experiences, transformation and lives of these men are worth reading. Of course God plays a huge part in this! They emphasize on reconciliation (with God and with each other) being the core of the gospel. Near the end, there are practical steps on how to be a church that focuses on racial reconciliation
