Mr Wee Kim Wee (1915-2005) is well remembered as Singapore's popular third President and respected Ambassador to Malaysia and to Japan. In this book, which presents as a delightful scrapbook, his substantial career in journalism is the main theme. Photographs, a selection of Mr Wee's articles, letters and reminiscences, recollections of colleagues and people of high and low estate, his perceptions of family life and of professional ethics in journalism all come together and indicate why Nanyang Technological University's School of Communication and Information is now named the Wee Kim Wee School. Proceeds of the book go to the Wee Kim Wee School's Legacy Fund.
